Blake’s technology teacher just sent me a link to an activity he made in the computer lab. One is a picture of Scott that Blake created and one is a picture of me. Can you guess which is which? Here’s a clue. I’m the pretty one.
Blake and his 5th grade reading buddy, William, in matching blue shirts! Blake is pretty excited to have a reading buddy with the same name as one of his names.
It was a low key, chilled out weekend. Blake is knackered after a full week of school. Happy, but oh so tired. Still we managed to squeeze in a bunch of: dogpaddling sand play and eating like a maniac at Bauer’s 5th birthday party
I am so grateful that Blake’s lovely teacher has an incredible blog. I get to peek in on him in the playground and I see him in the hallways, but it is only through Soon-ok’s blog that I get a glimpse into the meat of his day. Here is my sweetest boy building his name. … Continue reading

Click on this link if you would like to check it out. http://teachers.saschina.org/sborden/ Here’s a picture I stole off her blog today. I think she and Blake are doing the calendar together. Sweet. Every single day he gets … Continue reading

He was as sweet and as healthy as can be. We’ve ditched Parkway Health and are loving Huashan Hospital. Here … Continue reading
There’s a new floor mural in the neighbourhood where we often buy our groceries. It’s a very cool dragon. At the top and at the bottom there are signs that warn heart patients to be careful. Because looking at pictures of dragons can be terrifying.
Today was Blake’s first day of school!!!!! He has been so excited and ready for so long. This morning when he woke up he said he was feeling ‘hared.’ Still no ‘sc’ sound for us. He may have been ‘hared’ at first, but he did great. He is all kitted out with his robot back … Continue reading
