Blake’s class is swimming in the pool. Look at this gorgeous picture. He swam and he swam and he swam and he swam using every flotation device known to man. And sometimes none at all. He’s doing a lot of jumping in these days, but he could not bring himself to climb to the top … Continue reading
To kick off my birthday week, three wonderful friends and I headed to a very posh Shanghai hotel for afternoon tea and champagne. The treats were exquisite, and the company was perfect. I don’t know why we don’t hang out at the Peninsula more often!
Spring has arrived and with it a great big ton of outdoor time. Yay! Blake is craving wheel time and although it is only a very short distance to school, he is scootering or rollerblading there every single day. The helmet and skates make him almost as tall as his first and second grade buddies.

Blake graduated from Kung Fu class today. He and his classmates did a little performance. Afterwards, he was given a certificate and a promotion to level 2. Way to go Blake!

The longer days can make it tricky to squeeze in the long luxurious baths Blake has grown accustomed to. We play outside until the sun goes down, eat dinner … Continue reading

He was totally engaged painting a toilet roll pink, that’s one of his favorite colors. He loves all the colors of the rainbow except yellow. I snapped a quick pic of a … Continue reading
