I am so grateful that I get to come to work every day with incredible women like these two every day. My friends, my colleagues, my teammates. I am one lucky teacher.
Blake’s kindergarten class filled the jar again so it was time for a party. This time they visited the climbing wall. Our friend and colleague Anson Hing came out to help and he brought a group of middle school climbing students. Can’t wait to go back again!
We have a very fun tradition in our library called Books to Eat. Three Mondays a year, kids bring in edible creations representing a book. Last year we did Good Night Gorilla and it was awesome. We had a fun Easter egg hunt early Sunday morning. He moved pretty quick and I was still pretty sleepy, so this is all I got for you.
Friday night was Date With Dad. It was awesome. 350 kids and dads hanging out together, playing together and trying out a bazillion activities that Scott had organized. Blake’s class had a spring party on Friday. I could only swing by for a few minutes. I dropped in while Blake was waiting in line to do an egg and spoon relay. He was bouncing with excitement and gave Allegra a big squeeze.

Our Junior School had a special day celebrating China today. They did loads of games and activities that recognized our host country. I was in charge of the photobooth. Kids came and got dressed up in traditional costumes and we took pictures. Here are Blake’s.
SAS is hosting a super soccer tournament for our girls varsity teams. That means 12 teams from all over Asia have come to play at our school.
