We missed the photo session this year so I made Blake pose after the game. Grandma worked some magic this week! It’s hard to believe this is the same uniform as last week! Some quality fielding at 3rd. He doesn’t mess around at the plate – he’s a first pitch hitter. Running home – Go … Continue reading
We arrived at Canada’s Wonderland just as it opened. Bright blue skies with not a cloud in sight. I took two very overexposed pictures as we entered the main gates and then Snoopy’s Planet. We arrive in St Marys several weeks after the season has begun. That means we get the last pick of the uniforms. It was a bit big. We rolled his pants up three big turns, but he still spent most of the game hiking them up. Grandma is working on some alterations before the next … Continue reading
St Marys is home to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and this is induction weekend. We headed to the home run derby on Thursday night. We got a bit delayed by a flat tire, but we got there in the end. Blake and Erin got Fergie Jenkins’ autograph. He’s the only Canadian in the … Continue reading
It was a long, cold, snowy winter in St Marys and the deer were very hungry. In the absence of their normal food, they snacked on everyones cedar trees. These are Pat and Larrys, and our hedge looks barren as well.
