Spotted this in the hallway. It’s news to me that Blake is claustophobik. And you have no idea how happy it makes me that two eight year old boys describe themselves as graceful.
At 6:45 this morning there was a knock on the door and in walked Mimi asking if she could hang out because her parents were in meetings. ABSOLUTELY. We had a lot of fun and took some photos too.
This kid!!!! Big smile, big heart, joyful, happy, quirky, fun, loving, kind, adventurous, clever Blake.

Blake and Haohan wore the same shirt the other day and I felt compelled to document the experience. Actually, I think the boys found me and said, “You’ve got to get a picture of this!!” Neil jumped in with some matching green as well.n

One of the best parts of our summer is spending time with cousins. We reenacted this photo taken in 2011. Everybody’s even more gorgeous than they were 4 years ago. We are so lucky to have these amazing cousins in our life! Since the camera was out, we rallied the troops for a group photo.
We are incredibly lucky to live 3 doors down from Grandma and Grandpa for so many reasons, not the least of which is their pool. Many happy hours were spent in here, jumping, diving, splashing, playing and just plain cooling off. Lucky, lucky us.
The kids had such a blast on our first visit that we squeezed in another beach day in Grand Bend. Swimming, playing in the sand and cruising the slightly dodgy main street made for a lovely day at the Bend.
