We are looking after the library hamsters for Chinese New Year. I knew there would be poo and pee and mess, but we got even more than I bargained for.
Four brand new babies. They weren’t there yesterday, but today when Scott and Blake tried to put one in the ball they discovered four extras. Oh my.
I heard that sometimes the daddies eat the babies, so we have moved him into our guest room bath tub.
The mom is not exactly gentle with them. She just picks them up by their faces and chucks them around. It kind of freaks me out, but I am coping with it so far. It’s only seven more days. Yikes!
