Actually he came last Saturday. We went to the same Christmas Fair we’ve been to for 9 years and Blake had his picture take with Santa. Unfortunately, I think Santa left his best photographer at the North Pole. The back ground was pale green and yellow-y and the whole pic is kind of awful. The pale couch, the green fire, the grouchy Santa – blech.
I spent some time on photoshop this morning trying to amp it up a bit.
Which ever way you colour it, that sure is one gorgeous boy.
He asked Santa for Star Wars lego. He has never seen Star Wars, nor will he very soon. It is way too scary for this little gunner who has more than the occasional nightmare over stuff like Spy Kids and Ben 10 and Super Heroes. But his friends have Star Wars lego and Santa assured him that so shall he.
I love that he is growing up in a world without commercials. Because that is all he wants. He told me he’d rather DO stuff than GET stuff. I asked him what sort of stuff he’d like to do and he told me he wants to go out for breakfast with Grandpa. I’m pretty sure that can be arranged.
